Residence meeting for formation of a Home Owners Association of East Ledang
Good afternoon everyone,
There will be a meeting to invite and to select a Pro-Tem group of representatives to collaborate with the UEM management team in addressing some of the key issues and in addressing Residents’ concerns about the estate.
We hope to get as many homeowners to join us in this meeting. This will be a useful first step towards the formation of a Home Owners Association of East Ledang.
Please kindly show your support for this initiative by attending or contacting us if you're not able to attend but would like to be involved.
We welcome tenants to attend this meeting, just to be aware about the developments.
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday afternoon.

Hi Erica, thanks for sharing regard JB, I am recently interested in a semi d in east ledang, but it is bumi lot. I am Malaysia Chinese, understand there's tedious procedures transfers bumI lot to non bumI especially this is sub sales, but agent say it is easy, would like to seek your opinion on this thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Kelvin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading my blog. I've looked at bumi lot subsale before and I was told that the process will take about 9 months so I didn't pursue any further. I believe it's doable, but you'll have to be comfortable with the super long process time.
Have a great Sunday,
Erika
Hi Erika, may I know the estimated 9 months duration is for bumi to international lot or bumi to non-bumi Malaysia lot?
ReplyDeleteHi Jean85, thanks for reading my blog. I only know about the bumi-foreginers lot transfer (which is 9 mths). I'm not sure about the bumi-non bumi MY lot, but I have a feeling that it could be the same. I'd suggest speaking to a lawyer on this to double check (you can contact Tay Partners who we used in our house purchase).
DeleteHave a great Sunday,
Erika
Hi Erika - how did it go with setting up the Home Owners Association? We're still waiting for completion of our unit (and then for the sub-sale to us to be finalised) - but once we're finally there I'd be happy to join you.
ReplyDeleteJust as a matter of interest - do you know if that hideous fence between your phase of Tranquility Park and the new phase is going to stay there? It spoils the look of the place entirely and as our property is right beside the fence it gives it the look of living in a jail! I'm going to be so so disappointed if they intend to leave that fence up.
Catherine
Hi Catherine,
DeleteApologies again for my late reply. We formed a Pro Temp committee and are submitting formal response to UEM on top areas of concern for the residents. Work is in the way. We've also set up a Google site & forum for residents. You can request access to this site https://sites.google.com/site/eastledangers/ (pls kindly include your unit numbers so we can keep track).
Things are progressing but still long way to go, hopefully we can help to make a difference.
With regards to the fencing, I'm not sure yet if the fencing will be removed. Looks like there's a separate entrance gate being built, but I'll keep a look out.
Have a great Sunday!
Erika
