Kate to open Marlborough College in Nusajaya

Kate Middleton and William will visit Johor in September as part of their tour to several countries in conjunction with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

I would love to see her! This is exciting, I hope Johor state government will clean up the city a little bit :)

With the spate of big-ticket projects being launched in and around Johor's Iskandar region, such as Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Bhd's RM80bil transformation of the coastline fronting Singapore, there are concerns that a glut could emerge in the state's property market down the line.

Wow - what was he thinking? Usually when things like this happen, we can see the custom officers checking Malaysian cars a lot more thoroughly. Let's hope that it won't impact the checkpoint clearance time in the morning.

Malaysia, Singapore set out cooperative agenda for film industry cooperation

South East Asian neighbours Malaysia and Singapore seem headed for an era of wide-ranging film industry co-operation.

This could lead to the presentation of a formal bi-lateral co-production treaty between the two countries by the end of 2012.

In the short and medium term the moves are being driven by the impact of the Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios, which are now under construction within half an hour travel time from Singapore, and the prospect of Malaysian financial incentives being put in place to stimulate usage of the new studios.
