TGV Ciname Aeon Bukit Indah Opened on 1st June

Good afternoon, I hope everyone's having a great weekend. I meant to write this article a couple of weeks ago but was caught up with other stuff...as usual :)

We finally have a cinema near home. TGV opened its 17th cinema on 1st June at Johor Bahru; TGV Bukit Indah. This cinema is located in the newly extended area of Aeon mall and only encompass 7 standard halls, but also an additional Beanieplex hall as well as a premiere class hall, TGV Club.

We've yet to watch a movie, but it's definitely in the plan. To check out movies and screening sessions, visit TGV.

Prices surge in Iskandar

KGV-Lambert Smith Hampton (Johor) Sdn Bhd executive director Samuel Tan says that property prices have appreciated by between 45% and 160%, depending on the type of property and location, compared with prices five years ago.

“The year 2012 will be the tipping point, when projects such as Johor Premium Outlet in Indahpura and Legoland Theme Park in Nusajaya are up and running,” says Tan.

Bukit Indah Aeon

Our first ever discovery in the area was Bukit Indah Aeon mall. Well it's not that difficult to find this place :0

It's located at the heart of Taman Bukit Indah, Nusajaya. The mall is surrounded by huge on the ground carpark and this reminds me of those outlet malls in the US. The mall has a quite a good range of shops, restaurants, food court, supermarket, pharmacies & some massage shops (which I will try soon).

Here are some pictures of the mall:

Since we've received our fridge today, we did a massive grocery shopping @ Jusco. This is a very complete and large supermarket located in Aeon. For the amount that we bought (think from cleaning products to milk to frozen pizza), I was a bit surprised about the price that we paid. It's definitely a lot cheaper than Singapore grocery shopping.

While shopping in Jusco, I found these interesting items:

The best of both world

Yummy icecreams

Other interesting stuff in the mall:

Proposal in Paris - anyone?

Doughnuts which resemble sushi

Cheese tarts which look very nice

Recycling seems to be a very big theme throughout the mall - which is good to see

BUT most important of all - my favourite Nandos

This is Ian eating hotdog after our shopping exercise:

To get to this mall from Tuas 2nd link, take the 307C Highway exit for Nusajaya, follow the direction to Bukit Indah. Est travelling time from Tuas 2nd link is 20 minutes.

For the ladies, I promise to blog about the massage places soon :)
