Little Western Food Corner - Thamara Cafe

This has been our favourite joint to get some simple good western dishes so far (thanks to Fiona).

Thamara cafe is an Indian Western restaurant which serves local cuisine (I've tried mee goreng and ikan bilis fried rice) and western dishes such as lamb chops, spaghetti, chicken chops, burgers and more.

In our last trip, we ordered Lamp chops and the lassi drinks. The whole meal cost about slightly above 30 Ringgit. The lamp chops were very tasty and drinks were very nice.

Here are some pictures we took from our last visit:

Thamara cafe is located at 14, Jalan Indah 16/7, Taman Bukit Indah, Johor

I also found this blog which has posted more pictures and reviews about this cafe.

This place is definitely worth visiting and we'll be going back there regularly.

    1. Hi Shih Paul, thanks for reading my blog. I apologise for my late reply. We were devastated when we found out that Thamara cafe's closed, so sad, we really liked their food. I have no idea what happened to them and where they went. Hopefully we'll find them again one day.

  2. Hi I messaged the owner on Facebook (found his account after doing some online CSI) - turns out the cook had a better offer so they had to close - he wouldn't tell me where the cook is now though!

    1. Hi JN, thanks for reading my blog and my sincere apologies for the late reply as we've been away for a long holiday. It's good that you found out what happened, we were so disappointed with closing of Thamara. I haven't been able to find a good replacement nearby. If you know of any, please do share.

      Have a great week!
